And nowhere else in Italy do other white varieties such as Gewürztraminer, Sylvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Sauvignon, Grüner Veltliner or Kerner produce such fruity, fresh, typical and characterful wines. These also form the basis for high-quality South Tyrolean sparkling wines.
